in Information Science.
I
n conclusion, some possible ways to
improve the current state of digital
preservation in Turkey include:
- continuous education for librarians:
life-long learning by the three LIS
departments which is currently available
in Istanbul [3] (one department) and
Ankara [4, 5] (two departments).
- a single gateway to Turkish
resources:
making images of all these
manuscripts available from a single
Web-based database, established with
